Leeds fans react on Twitter as Marcelo Bielsa provides Adam Forshaw update
Plenty of Leeds United supporters have taken to Twitter to express their disappointment after Marcelo Bielsa suggested, in comments reported by Leeds Live, that he is not sure how long it will be before Adam Forshaw is back from injury.
Forshaw has made one appearance since the end of August. He had initially returned for the trip to face Charlton Athletic. But he has not been seen since the visit to the Valley.

And while Leeds fans received positive news on both Liam Cooper and Jamie Shackleton, Bielsa confirmed that the situation with the 28-year-old is less encouraging.
“It’s an injury that is not easy to deal with. A difficult articulation. And it’s not easy to determine the process of this injury,” he said, as reported by Leeds Live.

“For this reason we don’t have clear reference, the evolution of his process is not linear.
“This kind of injury you have high and low. Until you heal this injury in the definitive way.”
Forshaw has taken a lot of criticism during his time at Leeds. He struggled to win the supporters over last season having actually been one of the better performers during Paul Heckingbottom’s brief tenure.
But he has unquestionably silenced all of his critics this season. Forshaw has been outstanding in that midfield role between Kalvin Phillips and Mateusz Klich. And the Whites have arguably missed his energy in recent weeks.
And the supporters have admitted on social media that they are extremely concerned about the fact that the midfielder does not look set to return anytime soon.
One fan even suggested that his injury was the one that was hurting Leeds most. Considering Cooper and Pablo Hernandez have been sidelined lately, that is a very telling statement.
Here is how some of the Leeds fans reacted to Bielsa’s comments…

The worry for me with Forshaws injuries is they never seem to be able to know when he will return and is usually a lot longer than expected. Massive miss

Shame about Forshaw. He was enjoying his best run since coming to the club and IMO was the main reason we had such a strong start to the season. Was great to finally see him in a role that suited him. Hope he is back soon we are a much better team with him as a no. 8
