Leeds fans react as Tyler Denton completes permanent move to Stevenage
Tyler Denton has ended rumours over his future by completing a permanent move from Leeds United to League Two side Stevenage this summer on a permanent basis – and Leeds fans have reacted on Twitter.
Now 23 years of age, Denton broke onto the scene under Garry Monk as he made his debut in the Carabao Cup against Luton Town. He scored a screamer on his debut from all of 20 yards out.
But he only managed three Leeds appearances in total and was sent out on loan to Port Vale in 2017-18, and then Peterborough United last season alongside new Whites signing Ben White.
Denton struggled at the Posh, only playing 14 times and that has seen the left-sided defender decide to leave Leeds permanently – dropping a division to join Stevenage for an undisclosed fee.

Leeds have plenty of competition on the left side of defence ahead of Denton, especially after the breakthrough of Leif Davis. Barry Douglas, Gjanni Alioski, Stuart Dallas and Gaetano Berardi can all play there.
Leeds fans have reacted on Twitter to the news that Denton has completed a permanent move away from the club this summer, choosing League Two side Stevenage – and many have wished him the best of luck.
He was never going to make the grade here sadly
