Leeds striker Patrick Bamford has been touted as a possible replacement for Tottenham ace Harry Kane. Reports continue to link Kane with the exit door as he remains absent from Spurs training. Leeds fans discuss Dean Ashton suggesting Bamford as a target for Tottenham, to replace Kane.
Kane, 28, is absent for a third day in a row at Tottenham despite being scheduled to return on Monday. Some reports claim the England skipper is trying to force a move by going on strike. Other outlets say that he is currently in quarantine after returning from a holiday in the Carribean.
Regardless, Kane could leave – even if Manchester City do end up signing Jack Grealish. If he does go, Dean Ashton has suggested three replacements – in the form of Patrick Bamford, Danny Ings and Raul Jimenez. The three strikers are all proven in the Premier League – but some way off Kane.

What do Leeds fans think about Bamford going to Tottenham – amid Ashton comments?
“Raul Jimenez is the kind of player he [Nuno] clearly likes, someone to have that role as a centre forward,” Ashton told TalkSPORT. “You look at Bamford, who is of that ilk, who can lead the line, work incredibly hard, link the play. Danny Ings could be an option.”
Bamford is in the final 12 months of his contract. While the club are said to be in talks to offer him a new deal – as per The Athletic – his future is beginning to become a doubt. Leeds fans, though, are adamant that the uncapped Englishman will not be going anywhere this summer.
