Leeds United have reportedly started talks with Spanish giants Barcelona about their midfielder Rafinha – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter have responded by claiming he would be a great addition at Elland Road.

Spanish outlet Sport claims that Marcelo Bielsa’s side have begun discussions with La Liga side Barcelona about the Brazilian.

The report explains that they value him at £14.25million and are prepared to stand firm on that price tag this summer, but his future is expected to lie away from his future.

Despite never playing in English football before, it is understood that the 27-year-old wants a move to the Premier League, amid speculation he could leave Camp Nou.

The versatile midfielder spent last season out on loan with Spanish top-flight Celta Vigo, where he managed four goals in 33 games across all competition for them.

Leeds-linked Rafinha is someone that would be moving to Yorkshire with a lot of pedigree if he did move, as he’s played 90 senior matches for Barcelona since coming through their youth system

A selection of Leeds supporters on social media are convinced the skilful midfielder could be a great option for them and he’s someone that is great on the ball that can slot into wide or central areas.
