Leeds United fans are relieved on Twitter after it was reported that star player Raphinha is “happy” at Elland Road despite interest from Premier League champions Liverpool – following his excellent start to life in England’s top tier.
Raphinha, 24, joined Leeds last summer from French club Rennes. Arriving on deadline day, it took the Brazilian a bit of time to get up to speed – as it always does working under Marcelo Bielsa. But fast forward until now, and he is flying.
The winger, represented by Chelsea and Barcelona icon Deco, has had a hand in 10 goals during his 21 Premier League outings – most recently scoring an excellent free-kick against Southampton in a 3-0 win at Elland Road. Liverpool are keeping tabs.

That is, according to The Mirror. They state that Liverpool are interested and they are unlikely to be the only club to have monitored Raphinha – but the report also states he is happy at Leeds, befriending both Helder Costa and Patrick Bamford.
Costa is able to speak Portuguese with the Brazilian winger, while Bamford is able to converse in French – a language Raphinha knows having spent time in France with Rennes. Leeds fans reacted to the news that Raphinha is happy, with many relieved.
Others, meanwhile, have ordered Leeds to keep Costa – given his closeness with Raphinha.
