Goal have claimed Rangers are interested in signing Leeds United goalkeeper Kamil Miazek with the Polish stopper out of contract at the end of the season – and Leeds fans believe it is a move that probably “makes sense” on Twitter.
Miazek, 23, has failed to make a single senior appearance for Leeds since joining the club in 2017 – though he has featured on the bench multiple times. The ex-Feyenoord goalkeeper has been used more regularly by the Whites’ Under-23 side.
A Poland Under-19 international, Miazek is known for his lofty phyisique and technique with the ball at his feet – something Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa orders his goalkeepers to possess if they are to be in his side.

Spain international Kiko Casilla is first choice at Elland Road, while Lorient loanee Illan Meslier is second choice. Despite playing just once against Arsenal in the FA Cup, a permanent deal could be on the cards for Meslier – with a clause in his loan.
Leeds have also brought in Italy youth international Elia Caprile this month from Serie B side Chievo, and that is likely to push Miazek down the pecking order given Caprile is five years younger than Miazek.
Now, with Miazek out of contract and fourth-choice goalkeeper, Rangers are keen to end his Elland Road spell and bring him north of the border. Leeds fans have reacted on Twitter to that reported interest, and many think a deal “makes sense”.
