Leeds United have been reportedly told to pay £8million if they want to sign Manchester City winger Jack Harrison on a permanent basis – and Whites fans have urged owner Andrea Radrizzani to pay the figure.

Harrison, 23, has been in excellent form on loan at Leeds this season. It is the second season-long loan at Elland Road, after clocking up 42 appearances for the Whites last time around – in which he managed just four goals and four assists.

But after 29 outings this season, the England Under-21 international has easily surpassed that – scoring five and creating six. He will surely be looking to reach double figures for both goals and asissts come the end of the season.

Now, the Manchester Evening News have claimed Leeds can buy Harrison for just £8million – after the City star gained rave reviews for his display in the FA Cup third-round defeat to Arsenal on Monday night at the Emirates.

The report states that Leeds are likely to pay such a figure if they gain promotion to the Premier League – which would be their first return to the top flight since 2004. However, if the promotion bid fails, Leeds could still look to sign him.

Leeds fans reacted to the reported news on Twitter that their club could land Harrison for the bargain fee of just £8million – a figure that is less than the money spent on Patrick Bamford, and the obligatory £15million fee for Costa.
