Leeds fans react as Phil Hay delivers update in pursuit of Champions League-chasing £18m-rated trickster

Leeds United could reportedly go after Rangers star Ryan Kent this summer after being linked with the Englishman in previous windows. That is according to Athletic journalist Phil Hay, following on from previous reports that say Leeds still want Kent. Leeds fans want Rangers ace Kent signed.

Kent, 24, had a brilliant 20-21 campaign. Helping Rangers go unbeaten in the Scottish Premiership and oversee Rangers stopping Celtic, Kent had a hand in 28 goals during 52 appearances in all competitions. He found the back of the net on 13 occasions, laying on 15 assists in the process.

The Daily Star said at the beginning of the summer that Kent was an £18million target for Leeds. Then, a recent report from Give Me Sport suggested Leeds were looking at Kent. Now, Phil Hay – a source well-respected by Leeds fans – believes Kent could remain a target for Leeds.

Of course, this is not the first time Leeds have been linked with a move to sign the Rangers attacker. Marcelo Bielsa is renowned as an admirer of the ex-Liverpool man – but he has a chance of Champions League football with Rangers this season. Leeds fans want Kent lured south from Rangers.
