Leeds United have unveiled their new away kit for the coming season on their official Twitter account, and it has split opinion.
The bold grey and pink design has gone down well with some fans but others feel that a more traditional blue or yellow should be on show in the centenary year.
But newly-promoted Premier League club Norwich City have also had their say on the new look, making reference to the pink on the design.
The Canaries made their visiting dressing room pink last season, which was something Leeds’ social media team noted on Twitter after the Whites won at Carrow Road.
So when Norwich didn’t pass up the opportunity to get a measure of online retribution by noting that Leeds themselves have turned to pink, many Whites supporters got involved on Twitter.
Norwich’s official account tweeted, ‘loving the pink! Let’s hope it works for you!’ and some supporters hit back saying that the Canaries are obsessed because they went back to that old tweet and responded.
Others feel that Leeds deserve the ridicule for the new strip, while others made reference to the new EFL directives around online activity…
