Leeds fans react as Michael Olise nears Crystal Palace move

A number of Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports claiming that Michael Olise is set to complete a move to Crystal Palace.

Palace landed one of the most exciting talents in the EFL last year when they brought Ebere Eze to Selhurst Park.

And it appears that they are about to repeat the trick one year later.

The Athletic reports that they are set to sign Olise. Meanwhile, Berkshire Live reports that he will cost just £8 million after Palace triggered his release clause.

The 19-year-old was outrageously good in the Championship last season. He scored seven times and provided 12 assists for Reading.

He is a player who has been on Leeds’s radar. Reports last year claimed that they were battling the likes of Arsenal and Wolves for his signature.

And that may explain why plenty of supporters are not best pleased. Many feel that he would have been a fantastic signing for the Whites.

He predominantly played in the number 10 role last season. But he also featured on both wings, up front and in central midfield.
