Leeds United youngster Mateusz Bogusz completed a loan move away from Elland Road yesterday – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter reacted to the news.
Spanish second-tier club UD Logrones confirmed on their official Twitter account that they have signed the 19-year-old on a season-long loan.
The highly-rated central midfielder has played three first-team games for Marcelo Bielsa’s side, but is a regular in the youth teams still and has now been given a chance to develop his game with senior football elsewhere.
Leeds signed Bogusz from Ruch Chorzow back in January 2019 and he’s made a big impression with the club’s Under-23s team, plus has been given a few chances by Marcelo Bielsa.
The Polish teenager will now link up with Logrones, who are a newly-promoted team in La Liga 2.

A selection of Leeds supporters on social media have responded to Bogusz’s exit by questioning whether or not he’s joined the right club.
There are some who are suggesting that the youngster may have been better off remaining in England and dropping down the football ladder to find senior minutes, but instead he’s made the switch to the Spanish second-tier.
He is an all-action central midfielder that is compared to compatriot Mateuesz Klich and his job now is to try push closer to Bielsa’s first-team with a successful loan over the next 12 months.
