Marcelo Bielsa did not give much away when asked about Jean-Kevin Augustin’s future at Leeds United during his post-match Luton press conference, as per Leeds Live – and Leeds supporters have reacted on Twitter.
Augustin has struggled since the 23-year-old swapped RB Leipzig for Leeds in the January window. He has played just three times as a substitute, with fitness and hamstring issues causing Bielsa to overlook him.
It is believed that if Leeds go up and Augustin remains at the club until the end of the season, then the Whites will be forced to splash out £19million to sign the striker permanently. Right now, that seems very expensive.
Bielsa kept the door open for Augustin to remain at Elland Road until the end of the season, which may see the France Under-21 international sign permanently. Rumours are that Leeds have until Friday to make a decision.

“At the moment I have nothing to form on this. Training so far without any problem,” Bielsa said about Augustin. On whether he would like Augustin to stay, Bielsa said: “It’s a decision we will communicate when we take it.”
But he is certainly yet to prove any kind of worth to Leeds with six games left before the end of the season. Many Leeds fans responded to Bielsa’s comments on the Frenchman.
