A number of Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to react to the news that the club confirmed on their official website that Laurens De Bock has left on loan.
De Bock has endured a miserable time on Leeds’ books following his arrival in 2018.

It appeared to be a coup when he joined from Club Brugge. He had played Champions League football while with the Belgian club.
Leeds meanwhile, were going through a nightmare spell trying to find a left-back. Gaetano Berardi, Vurnon Anita and Cameron Borthwick-Jackson all had games in the role.
De Bock made an encouraging start. However, within a couple of games, it was apparent that something was not working.

Ultimately, he would only make seven appearances for the Whites. He has not featured since Marcelo Bielsa’s arrival at Elland Road.
Instead, he has spent most of his time out on loan. Last year, it was Zulte Waregem who took him for the season.
And it has now been confirmed that he has returned to the Belgian outfit this summer.
The news is significant because his contract expires next summer. So Leeds have seemingly given up hope of securing a transfer fee for the 28-year-old.
‘How is he still a Leeds United player?’: Fans react to De Bock loan
For many fans, the news is a stark reminder of how far Leeds have come. On the same day as De Bock’s departure, the Whites announced the arrival of Barcelona left-back Junior Firpo.
Others meanwhile, simply could not believe that he remained on Leeds’s books having not played in more than three years.
With that in mind, here is how some of the fans have reacted to the news on De Bock…
