Jack Harrison looks a completely different player to the one that joined Leeds United in the summer of 2018 from Manchester City. Just four goals came in his first season, during 37 appearances in the Championship – with many criticising him.
Fast forward two-and-a-half seasons, and Harrison is thriving on the Premier League stage. He has five goals and four assists in 20 Premier League appearances, looking a much more physical figure than the slight Harrison that initialy struggled.
He is one of the first names on the Leeds team sheet and rightly so, proving to be another Leeds player that Marcelo Bielsa has stuck by despite criticism – and proving to come good. Just look at Liam Cooper and Patrick Bamford.

Commenting on Grant Wahl’s Futbol podcast, 24-year-old Harrison claimed that there is an agreement in place with Leeds to finally make him a permanent Leeds signing – as he remains on loan from Manchester City, in his third season at Elland Road.
“I think this summer something is already in place, my agent knows more about all of this stuff than I do,” Harrison said. “We always joke that I’m going to come back for a fourth year on loan. We’ll see what happens in the summer.”
Harrison has now played an enormous 112 appearances for Leeds without making a permanent move to Elland Road, but the Yorkshire Evening Post claim Leeds can get the ex-New York City man for just £10million in the summer.
Leeds fans reacted to the news that Harrison has stated he might already have agreed a permanent deal at Elland Road which will come into force in the summer – and many think at £10million he is a bargain addition.
