Leeds fans react as incredible clip of Rodrigo De Paul emerges on Twitter

Rodrigo De Paul continues to be a name that Leeds United fans discuss on a daily basis, despite the Udinese skipper being priced out of a move to Elland Road last summer – and supporters are now in awe of a clip on Twitter.

De Paul, 26, has been in excellent form for Udinese over the past season – having a hand in a whopping 20 goals during 37 appearances for the Serie A side. In Italy’s top tier, he has scored nine and created 10 more.

The Argentina international was strongly linked with a move to Leeds last summer, with a huge number of reports covering the situation. De Paul even replied to a Leeds account, stating he would be open to a move to Elland Road.

But the overriding belief is that Udinese wanted too much money for their midfielder – at least, too much for Leeds – who instead tried to bring Michael Cuisance to Yorkshire. The Bayern star then failed a medical at Elland Road.

Celtic fans left short-changed by Sky Sports once again

The summer window is approaching once again and De Paul has been linked with Leeds. Italian site Il Milanista report that both Leeds and Liverpool are leading the race for the £40million-rated (Sun) playmaker.

Now, Leeds fans have reacted on Twitter to a clip that emerged on social media of a moment of genius from De Paul – during this month’s 5-1 defeat to Napoli. Nutmegging Tiemoue Bakayoko, he then spins out of another player.

It has only just caught the attention of Leeds fans on Twitter but many are in awe, once again urging their club to take action and bring De Paul to Yorkshire in the coming months.
