Leeds fans react as Helder Costa drops potential hint on Instagram ahead of West Brom clash

Leeds United will be looking to make it two wins from two on Tuesday night as they travel south to The Hawthorns to take on West Bromwich Albion – and Leeds supporters have reacted on Twitter to Helder Costa’s post on his Instagram story.

The feeling is good among supporters after the Whites climbed to 12th place in the Premier League table, following a 1-0 win over Burnley last Sunday. Leeds showed that despite a centre-back crisis, they can still remain competitive.

Raphinha and Jack Harrison remain first choice on the flanks. Indeed, 26-year-old Costa has been ushered aside despite a brilliant start to the campaign in which he created one against Liverpool and then netted himself against Fulham.

But a drop in form has since seen Costa manage just two substitute appearances in the club’s last seven Premier League games. However, many feel he has just dropped a hint on Instagram with a post on his story – ahead of Tuesday night’s clash.

Rodrigo, Robin Koch and Diego Llorente are renowned for posting something along these lines before a match – but Costa has not done so in the past. His upload, then, suggests something is different going into the 16th league game of the season.

Leeds fans think so. Many reacted to his Instagram upload on Twitter, discussing whether the one-time Portugal international and ex-Monaco star should be handed a start against Sam Allardyce’s Baggies.
