Bayern Munich midfielder Michael Cuisance has completed a loan move to French club Marseille – and some Leeds United fans on Twitter have responded to the news.
Marcelo Bielsa’s team were heavily linked with the 21-year-old during the summer transfer window and several reports explained how close they came to signing him.
The Daily Mail explained that last week Leeds saw a transfer collapse, after they had agreed an £18million deal for him which included a buy-back clause.
It was reported that the Whites halted the move after medical tests raised issues about a previous injury and it was viewed as too big a risk.
Bayern confirmed on Monday though that Cuisance has managed to complete a move away from the Allianz Arena and will play his football in Ligue 1 this season.
The French central midfielder is a highly-rated youngster with brief senior experience at Bayern and previously Borussia Monchengladbach, but this campaign will tell a lot about the kind of player he is.

A selection of Leeds supporters on social media have given their response to Cuisance’s loan transfer and have suggested that they have missed a bullet by not signing him this window.
