Leeds United are reportedly set to make an offer for Queens Park Rangers midfielder Luke Freeman this summer – and many Whites fans are desperate to see him signed.

London Football News claim Leeds are keen on signing the QPR Player of the season, and have been previously linked with the playmaker this season. Blackburn and Middlesbrough were linked with Freeman last summer.

The 27-year-old is said to have caught Marcelo Bielsa’s eye when he scored the winner in QPR’s surprise 1-0 win over Leeds back in February at Loftus Road. Indeed, Freeman shone throughout the 18-19 campaign.

He scored nine goals but turned provider on a further eight occasions in a side that only managed 62 goals all season, across all competitions. Freeman has a contract until the summer of 2021.

The latest report claims that Leeds are ‘set to table a bid’ for Freeman, as Bielsa looks to mould a squad capable of building on last season’s third-placed finish and going one better.

Leeds United fans reacted on Twitter to the news that their club were set to make an offer for the ex-England Under-17 international, and many are desperate to see the QPR ace in a Leeds shirt next season.
