Leeds United are reportedly battling Leicester City for AC Milan talent Tommaso Pobega as he continues to shine on loan with Serie A side Spezia – and Leeds fans have reacted to his potential arrival at Elland Road this summer.
Pobega, 21, left Milan on loan for the 2020-21 campaign having failed to break into Stefano Pioli’s side – despite playing more than 50 times for the club’s second string. But he has since impressed for Serie A side Spezia.
Indeed, the Italy Under-21 international has made 14 Serie A appearances for a side touted to be relegated come May – helping them avoid being in the drop zone. The currently sit in 16th place, six points above 18th.

According to Italian newspaper TuttoSport have reported that Leeds are one of two Premier League clubs are interested in Pobega – along with Brendan Rodgers’ Foxes. German side Eintracht Frankfurt are also an option for Pobega.
That is after netting three times in his top-flight outings in Italy – including a goal and an assist in a brilliant 2-1 win over Napoli. The report claims he could cost in the region of £8.75million and £10.5million, but he wants to stay at Milan.
Leeds fans responded to the reports that their club could look to tempt both Milan and Pobega into agreeing over a move to Elland Road – and some think he would be a good signing, with the Whites in need of midfield cover.
