Leeds United are reportedly interested in signing Queens Park Rangers midfielder Massimo Luongo this summer, but face competition from Nottingham Forest – and Leeds fans want him signed on Twitter.
London Football News claimed on Wednesday that the Whites are interested in the 26-year-old, who enjoyed another excellent campaign with the R’s. He was crucial in QPR’s 1-0 win over Leeds.
Luongo’s excellent run down the right flank saw him pass multiple Leeds defenders before his inch-perfect low cross allowed Luke Freeman to flick the ball into the back of the net. It was the start of Leeds’ downfall.

The 42-time Australia international has just 12 months remaining on his current contract with QPR, and the chances that a player of his quality will want to leave a side sitting down in 19th place in the Championship table.
Leeds could do with additions in the middle of the park, with Adam Forshaw, Kalvin Phillips, Mateusz Klich, Tyler Roberts and Jamie Shackleton the current options. But there is no proper cover for Phillips at the base.
Leeds fans took to Twitter after hearing of the news that their club are reportedly interested in signing QPR midfielder Luongo, and many are keen to see the Aussie ace sign on at Elland Road.
