Leeds United supporters on social were in fits of hysteria as Patrick Bamford explained how he was the man that broke Marcelo Bielsa’s glasses.
Speaking on this week’s episode of That Peter Crouch Podcast, the attacker revealed that the reasoning behind the Leeds manager’s wonky glasses is because Bamford fired a volley straight into the Argentine’s face, breaking his glasses and giving them the wonky appearance that supporters have noticed in recent weeks.

Bamford has been one of Leeds’ best performing players this season in what has been a successful comeback year in the Premier League, yet this story was met with disbelief and light-hearted humour by Whites supporters on social media, as they couldn’t believe the former Chelsea academy graduate was the suspect for Bielsa’s broken glasses.
Here’s what some Leeds fans had to say about the incident on Twitter…

Bamford remains Leeds’ top scorer this season, with the 27-year-old striker scoring 14 goals in the Premier League this campaign in 33 appearances.
