Albert Adomah has been reportedly released by Aston Villa after the club gained promotion to the Premier League, along with Alan Hutton and Tommy Elphick โ€“ and Leeds United fans want the Ghanaian winger signed.

Birmingham Live claimed that Adomah was joined by Hutton and Elphick in being first-team members released by Dean Smith, despite 31-year-old Adomah playing 42 times in all competitions.

Leeds have been linked with Adomah in recent transfer windows. The Bristol Post claimed back in November 2018 that Leeds were rivalling Middlesbrough for the 18-time international.

Now, Adomah is a free agent and will be looking for a new club. This season, he only found the back of the net four times โ€“ laying on just three assists. One of those goals was the controversial equaliser at Elland Road.

Leeds have options out wide in the form of Jack Clarke, Gjanni Alioski, Pablo Hernandez and more. But Jack Harrison has returned to Manchester City, while Clarke is being strongly linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur.

Leeds fans reacted to the news that Adomah had been released by the Championship play-off winners, and are keen to see owner Andrea Radrizzani bring him to Elland Road on a free transfer this summer.
