Leeds United secured a narrow win over Rotherham United on Saturday afternoon – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter hailed Tyler Roberts for his performance.

The Whites stretched their lead at the top of the Championship with a 2-1 victory, as they produced a second-half comeback to show the credentials of promotion contenders.

Marcelo Bielsa’s side found themselves behind at half-time due to Jay Ajayi’s long-range strike into the top corner for the hosts, but the Yorkshire giants fought back in the second period.

Midfielder Mateuesz Klick ended his recent goalscoring drought by netting twice and earned three precious points.

A selection of Leeds fans on social media decided to single out Tyler Roberts for his performance despite the two-goal heroics of Klich.

Roberts was introduced as a half-time substitute by manager Bielsa with his team trailing and he made the desired impact.

The 20-year-old attacker added an extra bit of pace and creativity in the final third, with youngster Jack Clarke coming off the pitch.

He has struggled for regular minutes so far this campaign and mainly been used as a substitute, but the Welshman proved what he can do by being a game-changer for Leeds.
