Leeds United’s Mateusz Bogusz has received an international call-up for Poland’s Under-20s side – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter are expecting big things from him in the future.
The midfielder has been named in the Poland squad for the summer’s Under-20 World Cup tournament.
It takes place between 23 May – 15 June, with Poland in Group A alongside Colombia, Tahiti and Senegal.
Bogusz will hope to add to his glowing reputation and prove himself on a competitive international stage.
The 17-year-old moved to Leeds back in January and has been impressing for the Under-23s side.
He is a central midfielder that has a box-to-box role and comparisons have been drawing with his goalscoring compatriot Mateusz Klich.

Bogusz has played for Poland’s international teams up to Under-20s level and is being tipped for a bright future.
Senior Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa has clearly seen something in him too, as he’s been on the bench for the last three first-team games.
The playmaker was an unused substitute in the final two matches of the regular league season, while he was also in the match day squad against Derby County in the first leg play-off semi-final.
