Leeds fans praise youngster Max Dean for his Under-23s performance

Leeds United’s Under-23s team recorded a 2-0 victory on Friday afternoon – and some of the club’s fans on Twitter were wowed by the display of their teenager Max Dean.

Mark Jackson’s side recorded a ninth consecutive win in the Premier League 2 by securing a victory away to Norwich City’s Under-23s .

The young Whites team are flying high at the top of the league table and have so many talented youngsters currently impressing at Thorp Arch.

After seeing one goal chalked out for offside at the end of the first half, Leeds forward Dean got himself on the scoresheet early in the second period.

The 16-year-old converted a low cross from Cody Drameh to put his side ahead.

Crysencio Summerville netted a second in injury time to wrap up three points, while opponents Norwich had two red cards and Leeds also had a player sent off.

A selection of Leeds supporters on social media believe that Dean was one individual that stood out for the Yorkshire club.

Despite being aged just 16, the attacker has made a huge impression whenever he’s stepped up from the Under-18s age group to the Under-23s by scoring consistently at either level.

He’s netted four times in his last six games in the Premier League 2 and is a rising that senior boss Marcelo Bielsa will surely be aware of, as he often taps into the young talent by giving them first-team chances.
