Leeds fans praise Pablo Hernandez latest performance

Pablo Hernandez played 80 minutes in the away win against Stoke City on Saturday – and some Leeds United fans on Twitter raved about the playmaker’s contribution.

The 34-year-old attacking midfielder once again impressed for the Whites, who sit top of the Championship table with 13 points from five league games.

They produced a polished away display against bottom of the table Stoke and continued their early-season momentum.

Hernandez supplied a stunning assist with a first-time pass that was perfectly weighted behind the Stoke defence for Stuart Dallas to open the scoring with.

Ezgjan Alioski and Patrick Bamford then each scored in the second-half to complete a 3-0 victory.

Marcelo Bielsa’s team are looking like the standout team in the division in the opening weeks of the season, but will remember too well last season falling off after a positive start.

A selection of Leeds supporters picked out Hernandez for his display away to Stoke.

The attacking creator not only laid on an assist for Dallas, but was also heavily involved with passes in the build-up for the other Leeds goals.

He will need to be well managed by Bielsa due to his age, but he is showing great fitness so far this campaign with plenty of work-rate and the natural ability that comes with that.

Here are some Whites fans commenting on Hernandez:
