Leeds United suffered a 3-0 defeat away to Tottenham on Saturday afternoon – but some of the club’s fans on Twitter did give credit to Pablo Hernandez for his performance off the bench.
Marcelo Bielsa’s team went into the fixture after winning back-to-back games in the two previous Premier League matches, but they lacked a cutting edge on their trip to London.
Harry Kane, Heung-Min Son and Toby Alderweireld were all on the scoresheet for Spurs, who just showed a bit more class on the day in the final third.
Leeds had plenty of positive moments when they went forward and they dominated the ball, but the visitors couldn’t find the form in front of goal they have shown for most of the season.

A selection of Leeds supporters on social media were encouraged by a cameo display from their veteran playmaker Hernandez.
The Spanish attacking midfielder entered the action in the 65th minute and showed real intent going forward, looking creative in possession and having a couple of efforts on goal.
Hernandez, 35, has started only two league matches all season in the top-flight, but remains a real favourite with supporters and he was such an influential figure in the club’s promotion last year.
Here are some Leeds fans urging Bielsa to consider bringing him into the XI:
