Leeds United supporters have taken to social media to praise goalkeeper Illan Meslier after the French shot-stopper broke an impressive record following Sunday’s 0-0 draw against Manchester United.
As uncovered by Opta statistician Jonny Cooper on Twitter, Meslier became the first goalkeeper for 70 years to keep a clean sheet against Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United in his debut English top-flight season, with the 21-year-old shot-stopper also becoming the youngest player in Premier League history to have ten shutouts in a single campaign.

Meslier has been impressive for Leeds in their comeback season in the English top-flight, and Leeds supporters on social media were quick to praise the former Lorient goalkeeper following the news that he had broken a second record after his clean sheet against United on the weekend.
