Leeds United slipped to a 2-1 away defeat against Millwall on Saturday – but some of the club’s supporters on Twitter were still impressed with their defender Ben White.
The Yorkshire giants had to play the majority of the game a man down, as Gaetano Berardi was controversially shown a red card in the opening 15 minutes.
Hosts Millwall scored from the resulting penalty with Jed Wallace and added another through Tom Bradshaw.
Ezgjan Alioski did pull one back for the Whites, but they just weren’t ruthless enough going forward and it means they enter the international break on the back of defeat.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side have now lost two of their last three league games and it’s seen them slip down to fifth in the Championship standings.

A selection of Leeds supporters on social media still wanted to praise White for his performance despite a loss.
The 21-year-old centre-back has been immense since he moved to Elland Road in the summer on loan from Premier League side Brighton and has taken the Championship by storm.
He is a ball-playing centre-back that did uncharacteristically make a few errors in possession away to Millwall, but overall was the leader once again in the backline and dealt well with the dismissal of Berardi.
