Leeds United are reportedly interested in a move for Dinamo Zagreb midfielder Ivan Sunjic – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter have given a thumbs up on a potential swoop.
The Daily Mail reports that Leeds have made a swoop for the enforcer who plays for the Croatian top-flight club.
The report details that their Championship rivals Birmingham City have submitted a £3.5million bid for him.
It is understood that Leeds’ interest comes due to the fact they fear Aston Villa could take Kalvin Phillips off them, but they want £30million for him.
Sunjic helped Dinamo Zagreb win the Croatian league title last season and is a defensive midfielder that sits in front of the backline.
He had experience of Europa League football last campaign and also captained Croatia’s youth team at the Under-21 European Championships this summer.

A selection of Leeds supporters on social media believe that Sunjic could be a decent addition to their squad.
The Yorkshire club completed the signing of Helder Costa on Wednesday on a loan deal which will become permanent and it looks like they are making a real charge at promotion again in the Championship.
Here are some Leeds fans commenting on Sunjic:
