Leeds fans on Twitter adore Meslier.

The young French goalkeeper has been the jewel in the Leeds United corwn this season.

On pitch, Raphinha has been the star for Marcelo Bielsa’s side, but in between the sticks it’s been Meslier starring.

The Frenchman was once again sublime for Leeds, despite the club falling to a 2-1 home defeat.

Meslier made 5 saves on the day, keeping West Ham at bay for as long as he could until Michail Antonio’s late winner.

It’s not a game that the WHites will remember fondly, but it was one where their ‘keeper shone.

This season has seen Meslier put in some stellar performances.

The Frenchman has made more saves than any other goalkeeper in the Premier League this season with 27 (Premierleague.com).

It’s certainly not the 21-year-old’s fault that his side are winless and the fans are aware of his heroics.

If the tide is to turn at Elland Road, Meslier will be instrumental to it.

He’s yet to keep a clean sheet this season but not for want of trying.

If Bielsa can get his side into gear over the next few games then no doubt that clean sheet will arrive.

Against Watford next week the Whites have a real chance to change their fortunes.

The fans will be desperate to see it as well, as it’s no more than their keeper deserves.

Until things start to go right for Leeds, though, the fans are right behind Meslier and the rest of the squad.
