Leeds fans not pleased with Clarke Oduor completing move to Barnsley

Leeds United have confirmed that Clarke Oduor has completed a move away from Elland Road to join Barnsley – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter have raged with the deadline day news.

The Whites have confirmed on their official website that the attacker has joined Championship rivals Barnsley for an undisclosed fee on a permanent basis.

He’s a 20-year-old talent that has come through the academy ranks at Leeds, but has now departed to join a fellow Yorkshire club.

Oduor has become another player this summer to join Barnsley from Leeds and will hope it leads to first-team chance.

The right-winger was given his senior debut by Marcelo Bielsa last season, as he came off the bench against QPR for a late cameo in an FA Cup defeat.

He’s an attacker with great pace and trickery, which has seen him impress at Under-23s level and also feature during this summer’s pre-season.

A selection of Leeds supporters on social media are angry with Odour’s exit and feel he could have made a breakthrough had he stayed.

They feel he may be one that they have let slip through the trap door and Barnsley will certainly hope that is the case.
