The Spygate scandal was one of the stories of the Championship season and has created something of an additional rivalry between Leeds United and Derby County.
And as luck would have it, the two sides could be on a collision course to meet in the semi-finals of the play-offs, with Leeds all but certain to finish third and Derby still scrapping for sixth.
The Rams could have confirmed that final play-off spot last night when they travelled to Swansea, but were only able to muster a 1-1 draw at the Liberty Stadium.
That means that the race for the top six will go down to the final day of the season, with Middlesbrough and Bristol City lurking behind to take advantage of any slip-up Derby make at home to West Brom on Sunday.

But the Derby Telegraph’s Twitter account went a bit early with the play-off trash talk last night, tweeting ‘Leeds United, we’re coming for you’ ahead of the trip to south Wales.
Leeds fans were quick to point out after the game that the Rams haven’t got sixth sewn up just yet, and that given Derby’s history of near misses when it comes to promotion, perhaps they shouldn’t count their chickens before they’ve hatched.
Further, having beaten Derby both home and away this season, they’re confident their side can overcome Derby if they do face them anyway.
This rivalry isn’t going anywhere fast and the Leeds fans enjoyed taunting their rivals last night – we’ve put together the best of the reaction…
