Leeds United geared up in the best possible way for their huge Yorkshire derby against Sheffield United on Saturday in the perfect way with a routine 3-0 win over relegation-battlers Reading last night.

The match was over as a contest by half-time as Mateusz Klich’s opening goal was followed up by a double by Pablo Hernandez.

Reading produced second half heroics on Saturday but there was to be no repeat here, allowing Leeds supporters to bask in the glow of a victory that keeps them in the top two.

And Hernandez’s second goal caught the eye of the supporters; Patrick Bamford’s smart play teed the Spaniard up before he smashed the ball into the far corner from the right hand corner of the box.
