Helder Costa started Leeds United’s win over Blackburn Rovers on Saturday afternoon – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter were upbeat about his performance.
The 25-year-old winger continued in the Whites XI and showed some quality moments, but is still waiting for his first league goal since his moved to Elland Road.
Marcelo Bielsa’s team beat Blackburn 2-1 at Elland Road in the Championship fixture and it means they are third in the division going into the international break.
Patrick Bamford’s penalty after half an hour opened the scoring and Jack Harrison added a second goal shortly after.
Derrick Williams did cut the deficit for Blackburn before half-time, but the Whites managed to maintain their lead and earn three points.

A selection of Leeds supporters on social media were impressed with Costa’s contribution at the weekend and feel that he is improving.
He’s not quite set the world alight like expected since his switch to Yorkshire, but was full of positive dribbling against Blackburn and showed in the past he can be a real goal threat in the Championship.
With Pablo Hernandez easing his way back from injury, Costa could find his spot in the team in real danger after the international break.
