Leeds fans impressed as Mateusz Bogusz scores for Under-23 side
Leeds United’s Under-23 side continued their excellent form in the Professional Development League with a 4-0 win over Charlton Athletic – and Whites fans reacted on Twitter to Mateusz Bogusz’s goal.
Carlos Corberan’s side went eight points clear at the top of the division thanks to the win over the Addicks. The Whites scored goals through Kun Temenuzhkov, Jordan Stevens, Pascal Struijk and Bogusz.
It was Bogusz who helped Leeds make the breakthrough just before the half-time whistle. The 17-year-old slid in winger Stevens, whose shot was parried by the goalkeeper only for it to fall into the net.

Jack Clarke returned and his excellent run saw him find Kun, who curled home a wonderful effort from 25 yards. Bryce Hosannah won a penalty, but Clarke missed from 12 yards.
Pascal Struijk scored last time out and he made it two in two, getting on the end of Clarke Oduor’s corner. The excellent Bogusz made it four with 10 minutes to play, cutting back and finding the net.
Leeds fans reacted on Twitter after the Poland youth international – who joined the club from Ruch Churzow in January – scored his first goal in Leeds colours. Fans are desperate to see him in the first team.
I know it may be early, but a part of me really wants to see how Bogusz would do in a first team game.
