Marcelo Bielsa has confirmed in his pre-Millwall press conference that Leeds United duo Adam Forshaw and Pontus Jansson are both fit to play on Saturday – and Leeds fans have applauded physio Rob Price.

Jansson suffered an injury in the 1-0 loss to Sheffield United. The knee injury prevented the Swedish colossus from travelling to represent Sweden in the international break.

Meanwhile, Adam Forshaw has been sidelined since the 3-1 loss to Norwich City in February. Now, Bielsa was quoted by the Yorkshire Evening Post as saying both players are back and fit to take on bitter rivals Millwall.

“Kemar Roofe won’t be fit this weekend but he’ll be back for the Birmingham clash,” Bielsa said. “Adam Forshaw and Pontus Jansson are both fit and available.”

Forshaw’s return has been somewhat in the pipeline, but Jansson return is very early give he was ruled out for three weeks prior to the international break. Kemar Roofe was expected to be out until at least mid-April.

Physio Rob Price has worked for England, Liverpool, FIFA and Hull City before joining Leeds as head of medicine and sporting development at Elland Road in June 2018.

Leeds fans reacted to the work of Price on Twitter, with the physio’s efforts clearly paying dividends with all three expected to return by next week. It could have a huge bearing on the race for promotion.
