Leeds United were held to a 1-1 draw against Derby County on Saturday afternoon in the Championship – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter ripped Patrick Bamford to shreds for his performance.
The Whites missed a number of brilliant goalscoring opportunities to end up sharing the points with Derby at Elland Road.
Max Lowe’s own goal in the first-half gave Marcelo Bielsa’s team a much deserved advantage, but they were unable to capitalise and Mateusz Klich missed a penalty to make the game 2-0.
After weathering the storm, visitors Derby made the most of their lifeline and Chris Martin scored a 91st minute equaliser.
Bamford endured a torrid time in attack where he couldn’t make the most of his opportunities.
The 26-year-old striker saw an effort early in the second-half deflect off the post, while in the first period he missed a glorious one-on-one chance where he tried to lob the goalkeeper.
Bielsa continues to put faith in him as the first-choice striker, but his conversation rate isn’t great and surely understudy Eddie Nkeitah is knocking down the door to replace him in the league XI.

A selection of Leeds supporters on social media were fed up with Bamford after his latest troubles in front of goal.
