Leeds United picked up a crucial home win over Yorkshire rivals Huddersfield Town on Saturday – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter hailed Jack Harrison for his performance.
The Whites have moved top of the Championship table after their 2-0 victory at Elland Road, but more importantly they are now seven points above of third-placed Fulham and are looking good for automatic promotion with nine games left to play.
Luke Ayling’s stunning volley in the third minute gave the hosts an early lead against Huddersfield, while striker Patrick Bamford ended his recent goal drought with a close-range finish early in the second-half to help wrap up another three points.
Marcelo Bielsa’s team have now won five games in a row to hit form at an ideal stage in the season and they’ve not conceded a single goal in that time too.

A selection of Leeds supporters on social media picked out Harrison for his contribution at the weekend and were majorly impressed by him.
The 23-year-old winger managed his seventh assist of the season with a cross for Ayling’s goal, plus he should have scored himself but was decided by the woodwork in yet another game.
He delivered yet another tireless display down the left flank while posing an attacking threat and has been effective during the team’ mini run of form.
