Leeds United’s Under-23s side secured the Premier League 2 Division Two title along with promotion on Friday night – and some of the club’s fans on Twitter picked out their teenager Crysencio Summerville for his individual display.
The Whites beat Aston Villa 2-1 this evening to wrap up promotion after a spectacular season.
Mark Jackson’s young team have been a class above this term, and their Under-23s will be mixing it with the best academy sides in the country next season.
Leeds forward Sam Greenwood netted a stunning free-kick against Villa, something that has become a trademark for him.
Jack Jenkins scored what turned out to be the winner, and the Yorkshire club had to hold on at 2-1 in the final 15 minutes with just 10 men due to Charlie Cresswell’s sending off.
Summerville, 19, has been one of the key individuals this season for Leeds.
He provided the assist on Friday for the winner after some mesmerising dribbling to get into the box, before pulling back a cross into the path of Jenkins.
A selection of Leeds supporters on social media were amazed by the Dutch wide player after his Under-23s display.
He’s a quick right-winger with so much trickery, but on top of that, end product.
