Ben White helped Leeds United record a victory away to Wigan Athletic on Saturday in the Championship – and some of their fans on Twitter were thrilled with his performance.
The defender has made a positive impact since he moved to Elland Road in the summer on loan from Brighton and has formed a decent understanding next to captain Liam Cooper.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side kept a clean sheet in a 2-0 victory at Wigan, who had Joe Williams sent off after only 20 minutes for two bookable offences.
Patrick Bamford netted a goal in each half for the visitors, as his decent form to the campaign continued and he earned his team three points.
The Whites now have seven points from their first three league games to top the Championship table, while they are also through to the second round of the Carabao Cup after beating Salford City.

A selection of Leeds supporters picked out White for his contribution and liked what they saw from the defender.
He had a fierce battle with Wigan’s giant striker Kieffer Moore during the contest, but stood his ground well eventually and ultimately played an important role in a clean sheet.
The 21-year-old was once again composed in possession with his range of passing and he’s slowly becoming a real favourite at Elland Road.
