A number of Leeds United fans have suggested on Twitter that they feel that they have seen Helder Costa’s best performance for the Whites following the club’s 1-0 win over Reading on Tuesday.

But the introduction of the substitutes changed the game for Leeds. Costa replaced Tyler Roberts during the first-half, and Gjanni Alioski came on for Mateusz Klich midway through the second.

And the two men played a crucial role in the winning goal. Alioski played Costa in down the right, and the Portuguese’s cross found its way into the six-yard box for Harrison to get onto the end of.

And plenty of fans have been full of praise for Costa’s performance in the victory. Leeds looked considerably more dangerous when the Wolves loanee was on the ball.

He caused some of the Reading defenders plenty of problems. And it is little surprise that some supporters have suggested that it may have been Costa’s best display for the club.
