Ben White left Leeds United in the summer to rejoin parent club Brighton but his latest Instagram activity is proof that he still misses the newly-promoted Premier League side – and Leeds fans have responded to his comment on Twitter.
White, 23, starred for Leeds on loan last season. He played in every single match during the 2019-20 campaign, clocking up 49 appearances in all competitions as the Whites gained promotion as Championship champions.
Leeds made numerous bids to sign White on a permanent basis in the summer, with Sky Sports claiming the Yorkshire side were even willing to spend a whopping £25million to sign him. But Brighton rejected bids, and he has since signed a new deal.
Leeds defender Olly Casey posted on Instagram after playing for the club’s Under-21 side earlier this week against Barrow, and White responded to his post – telling the Leeds youngster that he “misses” him.

Since returning to Brighton, White has been first choice – being used on the right side of a back three. He has started all four of Brighton’s Premier League games, as well as playing in the Carabao Cup against Manchester United, a 3-0 defeat.
Leeds supporters have reacted on Twitter to White’s comment and many felt sorry for their former loanee, with some still hopeful that Marcelo Bielsa’s side can still engineer a move to re-sign the uncapped England ace.
