Leeds fans critical of ‘awful’ Mateusz Klich after Hull defeat
Mateusz Klich completed 90 minutes in the loss at home to Hull City in the Championship – and some Leeds United fans on Twitter annihilated the midfielder for his performance.
The Whites went into Saturday’s fixture at Elland Road on the back of seven consecutive league wins, but they were finally halted against a gritty Hull outfit.
In-form Jarrod Bowen scored a goal in each half for the visitors and Marcelo Bielsa’s side were left to rue missed chances.
The Yorkshire giants remain top of the league table by three points at the close of 2018, but third-placed West Brom are just five points adrift.

A selection of Leeds fans on social media were particularly displeased with Klich after his display at the weekend.
The 28-year-old central midfielder is a regular in the starting XI and been involved in every league fixtures so far.
But his individual form has been a slight problem of late and he’s not scored since October, despite finding the back of the net on five occasions this season.
There is a huge demand on each player within Bielsa’s system and the midfielders get through a ton of work.
Here are some of the Leeds fan tweets criticising Klich and suggesting he may need a rest:
He’s been playing like he needs resting for weeks

Klich looks tired, not surprising given how much he’s played this season

last few weeks show we could do with reverse jinxing some players (or making ourselves look stupid when 45 mins later we win). Agree, Klich offering less and less….

Phillips needs to start playing as a midfielder again. Klich needs a rest, had a shocker today. Still top though!! #lufc

The more I think about it, Klich’s performance was one of the worst I’ve seen. Hardly hit a white shirt with a pass and jumped out of every single tackle including the start of their second goal. Awful afternoon from him #lufc

Klich was shocking today and Pablo’ s passing was very poor.
