Leeds fans credit Jack Harrison after Huddersfield win

Leeds United stretched their winning run in the league to six games by beating Huddersfield Town on Saturday – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter were thrilled with the performance of winger Jack Harrison.

Marcelo Bielsa’s team sprung to life in the second-half away to Huddersfield, as Ezgjan Alioski and Pablo Hernandez both second to secure a 2-0 win on the road.

Alioski’s brilliant volley from outside the box stunned their Yorkshire rivals, while Hernandez’s header late on wrapped up a win.

Harrison whipped in an inch-perfect cross for the Hernandez goal and there is no doubt his end product is improving.

The left-winger is now up to four goals and five assists so far this campaign across all competitions, while he also offers tremendous energy on the flank.

Leeds’ victory was made even more important by the fact that third-placed Fulham suffered a defeat to Bristol City on Saturday, which means they sit top right now and eight points above them.

A selection of Leeds supporters on social media are staggered by the improvement of Harrison as a player and were left praising his latest assist.

The 23-year-old rejoined on loan in the summer from Manchester City after spending last season at Elland Road too and keeps getting better under Bielsa.
