Some Leeds United fans on Twitter have expressed confidence that their attacker Patrick Bamford will be firing for them in the new season.
The Whites are currently in pre-season ahead of the Championship campaign and will be looking to build on last year.
Manager Marcelo Bielsa was a real hit at Elland Road, but unfortunately his team finished third in the league and ended up losing in the play-off semi-finals.
They will be hoping to go better in their pursuit of Premier League football and it’s going to be crucial they have plenty of goals in attack.
Kemar Roofe was a major goal threat last season for the Yorkshire giants, while 25-year-old teammate Bamford is another option at centre-forward.
Bamford only managed 25 appearances across all competitions due to injury problems, but still managed a decent return of 10 goals.
The left-footed striker has shown he’s a prolific scorer at Championship level when given the chance.

A selection of Leeds supporters on social media have replied to Bamford on Twitter and have given him their full support.
He’s someone that has the capabilities to lead a promotion charge, but needs to sharpen up in the final third and staying clear of injuries should help with that.
