Leeds fans ‘buzzing’ to see Jack Clarke back on the bench against Sheffield United

Jack Clarke has returned to the Leeds United squad for the first time since he was taken ill against Middlesbrough in February – and the club’s supporters are delighted to see him back in contention.

The Whites host Sheffield United on Saturday afternoon in the Championship and it’s a pivotal fixture in the race for automatic promotion.

Marcelo Bielsa’s team sit second in the table and are currently two points above Sheffield Untied in third ahead of the match at Elland Road.

Bielsa has decided to name the same XI for yet another game and there is a real consistency starting to form, as the push for a return to the Premier League cranks up a level.

A selection of Leeds fans are delighted that Clarke is back in the first team and he’s been eased back with the Under-23s side in recent weeks.

The 18-year-old attacker has established himself in the senior set-up this campaign and his return will be a boost for Bielsa.

He is a right-winger with great pace and trickery, which is why he could be a lethal option to bring on in the second-half against Sheffield United.
