Leeds fans blown away by incredible stat from unlikely man, after Palace win

Adam Forshaw has returned to the Leeds United starting XI with aplomb in recent weeks – and fans are stunned by an incredible stat that has emerged.

Forshaw, 30, has been sensational since returning to action after two years on the sidelines with a hip problem. It saw him go under the knife.

He even travelled to the States for rehabilitation. Now, the ex-Middlesbrough man is back – and it seems as though, better than ever.

The midfielder has started the last four league games for Leeds and looks fitter than his teammates. Not only that, but he is keeping injury at bay.

He was a crucial part of the side that finally saw Leeds secure a third league win of the season on Tuesday. Forshaw was instrumental in the 1-0 win.

A stat has emerged on Twitter regarding Forshaw’s running. For those that have played less than 300 minutes, Forshaw tops the running charts.

What are Leeds fans saying about incredible Forshaw fitness?

While it will come as little surprise to many that Forshaw’s running stats are at the top – it should be of a surprise to those who follow Leeds.

Or football, in general. Forshaw has come off the back of a potentially career-ending injury – out for two years – to run more than anyone else.

He is averaging 12.11km every 90 minutes – leading 288 other Premier League players. For a player that almost saw his career end, it is unreal.

Leeds fans have reacted on Twitter to the stat, and many are stunned. Some think he deserves a new deal, others praised the midfielder.
