Leeds United take on Brentford at Elland Road on Wednesday night in their fourth Championship fixture of the season – and Leeds fans reckon Patrick Bamford is going to score a hat-trick, against Pontus Jansson.
Bamford, 25, has impressed for Leeds so far this season, scoring three goals in three Championship fixtures. His confidence will have gained an enormous boost, after scoring two goals in the 2-0 win over Wigan Athletic last time out.
It comes after the former Chelsea striker was the subject of criticism from the Leeds fans, but he sits top of the goalscoring charts from this season so far. The striker now has 13 goals in 29 outings for Leeds since joining the club from Middlesbrough.

Jansson is expected to start once again for Brentford after being handed the captaincy at Griffin Park, following his Leeds exit earlier in the summer. But Bamford certainly came up trumps, the last time he and Jansson went toe to toe.
Bamford was in lethal form back in March 2018, netting three times as Boro eased past Paul Heckingbottom’s Leeds side with a comfortable 3-0 win at the Riverside. The striker moved to Elland Road that summer.
Now, Leeds fans are expecting a hat-trick from Bamford on Wednesday night as he and Jansson go head to head for the first time since the ex-Crystal Palace, Derby County and Norwich City striker scored three back in March 2018.
