Leeds fans applaud Jack Harrison for display against Manchester United

Leeds United loan star Jack Harrison started against Manchester United during Wednesday’s 4-0 defeat – and Leeds fans have made a prediction about the young winger impressed as he embarks on his second loan at Elland Road.

Harrison, 22, came up against new Manchester United signing Aaron Wan-Bissaka on Leeds’ left flank, but it was United who were victorious with a clinical display that left Leeds with little chance.

Mason Greenwood, Marcus Rashford, Phil Jones and Anthony Martial all got their names on the score sheet in Australia, as they eased past the Whites. The extra level in class shone through against the Yorkshire outfit.

But Manchester City star Harrison, on loan at Leeds for a second successive campaign, was arguably the pick of the Leeds players alongside Liam Cooper and Kalvin Phillips as he impressed from the left flank.

The England Under-21 international showed some excellent touches and got into some good areas against a strong Manchester United defence, perhaps showing an improvement in his end product compared to last term.

Leeds fans reacted to Harrison’s performance on Twitter and many were impressed with his outing, predicting that he could take the Championship by storm if Wednesday’s outing was anything to go by.
